“ Lovely little restaurant. Very cozy inside and not that many tables so feels quite intimate. Definitely feels like fine dining. Lovely helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble. We have never had a bad meal here. I believe they change the menu every month so there is always a good variety on offer. Veg is always served with the mains on a side plate. All our meals were delicious especially the panna cotta, I can live off them for the rest of my life!! We always leave here absolutely stuffed, such good value for money. ”
“ The Cherry House is a lovely traditional pub/restaurant with wonderful thatched roof. We visited the Cherry House in December and were impressed with the fantastic menu. The tables were all set with festive hats and crackers and the menu was suitably festive too. Starters, main course and deserts were all beautifully presented and very tasty. ”
“ Just had a 3 course meal here, very quiet on a Wednesday lunchtime but a lovely place, very nice and friendly staff and the food was beautiful. They baked me some Gluten Free bread for the starter which is a first and very much appreciated. All courses were full of flavour and well presented, couldn't recommend enough. Thank you. ”
“ Went for lunch yesterday (Christmas menu) with 5 friends. From walking in to leaving the whole time there was great. Dining room very tastefully decorated and cosy. Can't praise the meals enough. All of us had starters. Between us we had salmon, duck and beef strips for mains and of course we had to have dessert. Coffee/tea served with mini mince pies, choc & fruit. Serving staff very efficient, friendly and polite. Thoroughly recommend. ”

“ With a second attempt on the day - we managed to get a table for 2. First time we called half an hour before we wanted to try this restaurant, with no surprise now it was all fully booked. Half year later we called early morning and there was a free table. Heard rumours how good and how tasty the food is at Cherry Tree. And I can’t recommend this places enough. The service was amazing - you walk in a little waiting area, they offer you a drink then introduce you to the menu and then you order. Once your drink is finished they take you to your table and food comes quite quickly. They come and check if you’re happy with everything and you don’t have to wait between courses, pretty much as soon as you are finished they come and offer you your next meal. We took our time and enjoyed every second of it and we spent nearly 2 hours in this lovely restaurant. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Definitely coming back! Thank you team Cherry Tree ”
